Anywhere you are comfortable with! I can suggest a beautiful location or I can come to you in your home.
A travel fee will be charged if I have to travel more than 25km to the location.
Usually they go for an hour unless otherwise stated. If I do an in-home session or sessions with babies, these may go for a little longer as babies have their own schedule.
I aim to get them back to you within 4 weeks of your session. If I need longer I will let you know the day of the session. Don't worry, each session gets sneak peek photos delivered with 48 hours of the session.
Included in the price is all your edited digital images. You can expect anywhere between 50-100 images delivered.
Mini sessions will have less images included for a reduced price and time spent taking photos
You'll see photographers advertising a $200 session fee, and it looks cheaper than mine.
Ask what it includes. That fee usually covers the session time and nothing else, and the photos are a separate purchase, often starting around $690 for a handful of images.
So the real comparison isn't $200 against $700. It's what you've spent by the time you have your photos in hand. Based on what local studios publish, most families who book that way spend somewhere between $1,000 and $3,000.
