Hi, I’m Jorisca. (It’s pronounced You-Risk-a)

They say motherhood is a blur, and as a mum to a busy toddler and baby myself, I understand why. It's a whirlwind of sticky hands, 'I just cleaned that' chaos, and those quiet, fleeting moments of connection that you wish you could bottle up forever.


I'm here to bottle them for you.


My journey with the camera started at 21, but my story as a photographer truly began in the classroom. Years as a primary school teacher taught me how to find the magic in the mayhem. I don't just "take photos" of children", I understand their energy, I speak their language, and I know that the best smiles happen when they're simply allowed to be themselves.


Whether we are exploring a hidden gem in the Hills District or a place that holds a special meaning for you, my goal is the same: to tell your story, unfiltered and authentic.


I want to help you remember all the milestones, from your love story, to the first glimpses of your family, to the important events in your lives. If you want a memory of it, I want to help you capture it all.

We often think of photos as decorations for our walls, but I see them as time machines.


There will come a day, years from now, when the house is quiet and your children aren't so little anymore. In those moments, when you'd give anything for just one more day of sticky handprints and toddler giggles, I want these photos to be your way back.
